Data Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity exists for someone looking to further their career in team management - within a highly successful and prestigious service led organisation.

Operating within a challenging & fast moving volume data environment the role would ideally suit candidates from a similar large corporate background in, for example - retail, automotive, banking, insurance, financial services or telecoms.

The main responsibilities of the role are focused on managing the day to day activities of a specialist data team providing key business information to a variety of internal user groups.

Specific Responsibilities:-

• Effective leadership and motivation of critical business unit and team.
• Working closely with users & data administrators
• Providing solutions to day to day operational and database issues
• Leading weekly team meetings creating the agenda, weekly targets and ensuring that each member of the team knows what is expected of them
• Importing, exporting & verifying integrity of data within Microsoft operating system.
• Responsible for delivering effective training to new data team members

Person Specification

• Individual and team based project management experience
• Previous Team Leader / Management experience is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident approach / track record working with data analytics and data mining.
• Experience in CRM systems and advanced Excel skills
• Experience within a sales / customer service led environment
• The ability to effectively liaise with internal & external stakeholders all levels
