Internal Verifier

Growing significantly over the last year, my client is arguably one of the largest training providers within their sector training over 1500 front line staff within environmental services. Due to this exciting growth they are currently looking to appoint an experienced Internal Verifier to work within the North East. Reporting the Assessment & Verification manager you will manage the assessment process in order to ensure that it consistently meets national standards and requirements of the awarding bodies.

As well as verifying assessment, you will develop and support assessors through the quality of apprenticeship delivery. Development of verification sampling strategy to include interim sampling & summative sampling. You will be tasked in the development of a system to monitor best practice ensuring national standards of assessment are maintained, identifying development needs of assessors and ensure that assessment needs of candidates are being met.

In addition you will also manage the quality of delivery, ensuring assessment resources are effectively managed and planned, including equipment, training facilities, candidate support and learning materials. Provide a quality assurance role including liaison with various internal and external bodies including Head of Delivery, Lead IV's, Ofqual and EV's.

You will of course be committed to quality, flexible and enthusiastic displaying an organised approach to your work. Any experience within external cleaning, environmental services, waste management or horticultural backgrounds would be a distinct advantage.
