Role - Senior Test Engineer Salary - Negotiable - Medicial Insurance, Annual Bonus, Training, 25 days holidays. Location - County Durham (Reloaction Package Available) This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a global leader in the design and manufacture of high performance semiconductor components as a senior test engineer. The salary is negotiable dependant on experience. PURPOSE OF ROLE: To provide a semiconductor wafer-level test Engineering functions including in-line and Product die Known Good Die Testing (DC and RF). PERSONAL QUALITIES: * Pro-active and capable of working without direct supervision* Prepared to be flexible in working hours to suit business needs, may need to work outside of office hours. * Project team-working ability. * Ability to train other colleagues in job specific skills * Good Communication skills. * Must have drive to achieve results SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure test systems are fit for purpose for production use ensuring effective and capable operation and correct data outputs. * Perform new product introduction activities liaising with product engineers and production staff to establish test capability for new products. * Support production with Test-related issues including RF Troubleshooting. * Support Process Engineering and Technology development groups with device-level testing. * Development and optimisation of test hardware, software and systems. * To help ensure that the test department operates efficiently and safely MAIN TASKS: * Setting up and maintaining in-line and Known Good Die production test systems to ensure reliable, accurate and repeatable operation. * Specifying & procuring new probe cards and developing test algorithms for new products * Engineering analysis of the test data. Preparing test reports including wafer maps, SPC reports, correlation of test data etc. * Supporting Test Technicians and Operators with production issues. * Performing training of production staff when required. * Fault-finding of production wafer test systems. * Test system development and optimisation. * Producing device evaluation and diagnostic reports. * Test software writing, development and maintenance. * Maintaining focus on improvement activities. * Writing and maintaining tester records, test instructions and procedures. * Probe Core/Card Management and lifetimes * Test System Product Qualifications * Data Correlation with Specification Requirements * Data Trends against Product/Test Systems/Specifications Contact Ross Paxton for an immediately interview. 01325 870486
