Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Internal Account Manager/Business Development Manager for a highly reputable client based in Weybridge. Our client are actively seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join their fast-growing team. Primarily focused on generating new sales of Microsoft (and other) digital skills certifications and learning solutions.

Reporting to the UK Country Manager, you will be required to support an externally based Regional Account Manager (RAM), B2C sector campaigns via membership bodies, large public-sector groups and focussed initiatives, as well as supporting general sales and marketing activities. This role would ideally suit a graduate looking to develop a career in sales & marketing within the technology sector and involves working with some of the world’s leading brands.

Internal Account Manager/Business Development Manager Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Business Development (50%)
    • Outbound calling and prospecting for lead generation
    • Provide customer solutions and presentations – on the phone and via web-based communication
    • Close new sales – over the phone and in person where appropriate
    • Overcome objections and resolve concerns
    • Travel to industry events when required
    • Use CRM and other internal systems and tools to track and forecast sales opportunities and record account interaction
  • Account Management (30%)
    • Build long-term relationships with customers
    • Advise and support customers with their skills and certification requirements (general customer service)
    • Support the Regional Account Manager with sales campaigns and related activities
    • Produce accurate quotations
    • Close annual renewals – over the phone and in person
  • Marketing Activities (10%)
    • Support marketing activities – events, online campaigns
    • Manage lead generation in relation to marketing activity
    • Create written, video (or other) customer success stories
    • Be active on social media
  • Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

Internal Account Manager/Business Development Manager Applicants:

  • Performance driven and results oriented
  • Work well under pressure
  • Ability to create and maintain long-term business relationships with customers
  • Self-Motivated – able to work independently to achieve Company and individual sales goals
  • Excellent oral, written, time management and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of computer systems, CRMs, and Office apps required
  • Attention to Detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related subject area – Business, Marketing
  • Sales experience in the education or learning products market an advantage
  • Microsoft Office Specialist certification an advantage
  • Full Driving License

SALARY: £24K Basic, OTE £30K (Plus Bonus, Pension, Phone and Laptop)
