Description

Are you an experienced Lead IQA & Quality Manager? Do you have experience of IQA and Quality Management of Early Years Programmes? Do you have experience of managing the IQA Process for Apprenticeship Frameworks and AEB Funded Delivery?

Baltic Recruitment Education and Training Team are currently recruiting for a Permanent Lead IQA & Quality Manager focusing on Early Years Programmes. Working for a specialist provider of Apprenticeships & Commercial Training based in London.

Lead IQA and Quality Manager (Early Years) Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management of the IQA process for apprenticeship frameworks and AEB funded delivery to ensure full sight of learner progression, trainer/assessor support and employer engagement against all qualifications aims
  • To conduct starter, interim and summative sampling of learners’ work in portfolio/e-portfolio format
  • To ensure continued compliance is monitored via ongoing sampling; live and current Individual Learning Plan (ILP), correct rules of combination, IAG, evidence of progression on to higher Functional Skills levels, timely and effective progress reviews
  • To create and update sampling plans for each qualification (and level) to ensure robust sampling across all methods of evidence submission
  • To prepare for and lead EQA visits and remote sampling activities, communicate EQA outcomes, and manage any follow-up recommendations or actions as and when required; to ensure that Direct Claims Status (DCS) where permitted is achieved and maintained
  • To support the review and approval of standardised learning resources accessible to trainers and learners
  • To maintain up to date records of staff certification, CV and CPD records; to inform and update the organisation’s Training Needs Analysis to indicate outstanding certification requirements and report to Head of Quality and Compliance
  • To monitor employees’ CPD activities to ensure occupational competence and currency of knowledge is maintained and is consistently ready for circulation to inspectorates
  • To ensure delivery staff are competent to carry out initial assessment and inductions, vocational and functional skills assessments of learners and make decisions as to the suitability of potential learners to achieve relevant qualifications
  • To set up, prepare and minute standardisation meetings per quarter within the scope of area of responsibility
  • To conduct live quality assurance visits to observe portfolio-based activities between trainer assessor, learner and engage with respective employers/line managers
  • To conduct and report on quarterly observations of Teaching, Learning and Attainment, update staff observation with grades and actions
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of Quality and Compliance to achieve Company’s deliverables as recorded and reviewed on the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) as part of continual quality improvement
  • To support the recruitment and selection of trainers and internal quality assurers
  • To monitor and report on responses to learner and employer course evaluations
  • To conduct lead IQA duties as above to ensure business targets will be met as a direct result of the achievement of timely portfolio/framework completion and End Point Assessment (EPA) activities

Lead IQA and Quality Manager (Early Years) Applicants:

  • A1 and V1 certification or equivalent
  • Level 4 or higher certificate in teaching and education
  • At least 3 years’ active working experience as an IQA in the sector area
