Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Management Information Officer working for a Tech Focused Training provider based in Newton Aycliffe. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Senior Operations Director and Operational management team in the collection, collation, reporting and presentation of management information (MI). To assist all managers in populating of reports but identifying risks, threats and opportunities as well as ad hoc analysis to identify trends. Ensure reports are accurate and reduce manual manipulation of data by using the data management systems effectively and develop a range of tools to ensure the integrity of the data produced.

Management Information Officer Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reports for the directorate, which focuses on measures which support current business objectives
  • Provide insightful commentary and compare actual results to expected performance
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for Director/Managers, ensuring deadlines are met and requests for information are met. The dashboards are to be used to communicate performance across the departments and the organisation in a consistent and easy format
  • Maintain and continually evaluate the MI reporting requirements and identify areas which require further development. Collaborate with management to ensure relevant measures are presented in a way which focuses attention where it is needed most at a point in time

Management Information Officer Applicants:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in MI or Data Analyst role
  • Demonstrable experience of producing and analysing statistics
  • Experience of report production
  • Advanced MS Excel technical skills for data manipulation including macro
  • Experience of statistical analysis
  • Able to recognise and suggest improvements to existing systems
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to achieve results within tight deadlines
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated with a flexible approach
  • A collaborative approach to team working
  • A self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision
