Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an established manufacturing business that designs and produces food-grade packaging with their search for a Site Administrator.
The Site Administrator will play a key role in delivering efficient administrative and organisational support across multiple departments. This position will assist with HSE compliance activities, provide documentation and reporting support to the Production and Engineering teams, and help maintain clear and effective communication throughout the site.
A strong Administrator or someone with a keen interest in developing a career within HSE would be an excellent fit for this position. The role offers a valuable opportunity to build cross-functional experience while contributing to a well-established manufacturing site.
Key Duties:
- Comply with the company Health & Safety, Hygiene and Environmental Regulations.
- Provide administrative support to HSE, Production, and Engineering teams.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Support HSE initiatives including inductions, training coordination, and documentation management.
- Collate and input departmental data into site systems to enable KPI tracking and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Assist with accident/incident reporting and follow-up actions.
- Support Production and Engineering teams with data input, logs, and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate cross-departmental communication to ensure timely completion of actions.
- Manage competing priorities effectively, balancing urgent tasks across departments.
- Promote employee engagement and positive site culture.
- Act as a point of contact for administrative queries in the absence of departmental managers.
Key Requirements:
- Proven administrative experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of HSE practices and ISO management systems desirable.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with shop floor staff and senior stakeholders.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Package:
- £27,000 per annum.
- 40 hours per week, working office hours.
- Holidays: 25 + 8.
- Pension: Up to 6% ER contributions.
- Sick pay: After first year.
- Private medical cover.
- 4x salary death in service.
