Baltic Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Newton Aycliffe. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit several Extrusion Operatives on a permanent basis to join their successful and expanding team.

We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals with a strong attention to detail who thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion lines safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
• Manufacture products to precise specifications while meeting production targets.
• Carry out routine quality checks to ensure consistent product standards.
• Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Report any machinery faults, defects, or production issues to management.
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and high-performing team.

Requirements

• Previous extrusion or production/manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and quality-focused.

Shift Pattern

Continental shifts:

• 2 days, 2 nights
• 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am
