Baltic Recruitment are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our client based in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, with the ability to work on various projects in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Fabricator will be responsible for creating high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
• Utilise various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and FCAW to assemble components
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Perform measurements using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and soldering
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Experience with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and various machinery effectively
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues

Pay rate

£16.64ph

Shift

Nightshift, Monday to Wednesday 9pm-7:30am, Thursday 8:30pm-7am
