Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Installation Technician joining a highly reputable client based in Retford. Working for the UK and Europe’s market leading Shower Enclosure designer and manufacturer, established for over 40 years.

With subsidiaries in Ireland and in Malaysia, all products are made in Britain. As an established leading brand within the UK home interest sector, our client has spent over ten years expanding its markets in the UK and is subsequently looking to expand its Installation Team.

Responsible to the Field Installation Manager, the role involves the installation of shower enclosures in new build properties, with National Agreements with several major House Builders. Our client currently has forty Engineers installing their products in new build properties nationwide.

The role will also be required to support the after-sales customer support team. In addition, the role will progress to include the installation of screens and enclosures in retail accounts. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is well presented and capable of working on their own initiative, independently and as part of a team. This role is not factory based and the successful candidate will report into their manager on a daily basis. Everyone covers their own specific area but will also provide cover in surrounding areas where necessary.

Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation of Shower Enclosures and Screens
• Installation of product in new build properties to a scheduled plan for National House Builders
• Installation and maintenance of Showroom Displays and merchandising products
• Attending guarantee and product issue in customer homes.
• Communicating with customers and work colleagues
• General after sales/customer care
• Work Location: Depot Based – Working Various Locations

Person Specification:

• Ability to use hand and power tools essential
• Must have a proven record in installation
• Capable of working independently
• A strong team player
• Practical in their approach to problem solving
• Full clean driving license

Desirable:

• Previous experience fitting showers

Working hours:

• Working Monday to Friday: Minimum of 35 hours per week.
• 07:00am – 07:30am start (Overtime available through the week)
• Saturday work available
