Project Engineer – Middlesbrough:
Our client’s Technical and Engineering team is based in Middlesbrough, UK, supporting the entire group with project management, planning, engineering and supervision services. Activities involve working with the owners & operators of heavy lift vessels, cranes, road transportation equipment and aircraft across a multitude of market sectors.
The company is looking for a candidate with extensive experience of heavy transport & lifting engineering in a hands-on practical environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Client drawing reviews
- Production of report and method statement documents to a high standard
- CAD drawing and design work
- Project Planning
Degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred) or equivalent industry accreditation’s/ experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy transportation and heavy lifting.
Advanced computing skills including CAD, design and planning applications.
Ability to interact easily with co-workers in other parts of the world and client representatives via both spoken word and email.
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills; the ability to influence and persuade; ability to assimilate and understand complex information; ability to work without close supervision yet able to judge when advice and support is required; thorough and determined.
The successful candidate will need to hold a clean current driving licence and own their own vehicle.
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Based in Middlesbrough, although there may be some travel required
- 25 days holiday per year excluding bank holidays
